Our New Listings Process
All listings are subject to an extensive review process led by our listings team. Part of that review requires us to determine the countries where an asset can or cannot be listed. Factors such as regulations and compliance are taken into consideration. Naturally, our customers who reside in markets where local laws limit new listings are left disappointed when a highly anticipated new listing is not accessible or has limited availability. This incident started when a substantially leveraged spot position was liquidated, which led to a domino effect liquidating multiple positions within flexible loan, margined spot trading, and multi-currency margin trading products. Some of our customers who had open trades or were part of the force liquidation were impacted. The problem eventually led to some users being unable to cancel their orders. Furthermore, due to delayed order status updates and fund settlements, some SUI orders were shown as live even when filled, causing some users to miss out on subsequent trading opportunities. The issue has been repaired, and all users' orders have been restored to normal.
